The answer is probably different from what you expect. It is not about looking at a player’s horoscope or finding one special indicator that predicts a winner. Instead, sports astrology as I have built is a structured system that combines multiple astrological factors into a single analysis. Over time, recurring patterns begin to emerge.

Sports Astrology Is Different From Mainstream Astrology
Many people are familiar with natal astrology, daily horoscopes, or general planetary interpretations. Sports astrology asks a completely different question. The objective is to examine the chart of a sporting event and determine whether meaningful patterns appear that may favor one side over another. Every game becomes another opportunity to test ideas against real-world outcomes.
Research without real-world testing has limited value. My objective has always been practical: to discover whether carefully applied sports astrology can produce a genuine long-term betting edge. That's why almost all of us are here. Every observation, every pattern, and every technique must ultimately be judged by one standard—does it improve results over a large sample of games?
No Single Factor Decides a Contest
No single planetary aspect, house placement, or isolated combination decides a game by itself. There are rare configurations that can be exceptionally strong, but they are the exception rather than the rule.
Most charts are more nuanced. Each event chart contains dozens of interacting pieces of information. Sometimes many independent factors point toward the same team. That’s the ideal situation.
Plenty of charts have competing influences, but we still see a predominance in one direction. And often times the chart is simply too ambiguous to justify a confident conclusion at all. Learning how those pieces fit together is where experience becomes valuable.
Why Software Became Necessary
As the amount of research increased, manual analysis became increasingly impractical.
Each sporting event chart contains many layers of information, including planetary positions, aspects, angular relationships, house positions, house rulers, planetary strength, and additional special factors.
Keeping track of these relationships manually did work, and I successfully did it for many years. Eventually, however, I wanted a software solution that could swiftly complete the repetitive calculations and preserve more mental energy for the rest of the betting process. That challenge ultimately led me to design and program Stellar Wheelhouse software. I now have a custom solution to see relevant information in a consistent format, giving more time to study games instead of determining chart factors by hand.
Research is Part of Life
One of the most enjoyable aspects of sports astrology, besides successful results, is that there is always more to learn. Every new day, week and season produces additional charts. Every tournament provides another opportunity to test existing ideas.
Some long-held assumptions become stronger. Others need to be slightly revised. Over time, the goal is to further develop the consistent edge: not certainty, and not a guarantee, but refining the disciplined method while keeping it simple and managable. It is always tested against real outcomes and real betting lines with real money, using situational judgment and bankroll management. That willingness to continually test ideas is valuable while also showing the continuity of the methodology.
Chart Judgement is Deliberate, Not Fully Automated
A question that arises from these musings is this: can astrology software automatically predict the outcome of a sporting event? From a technical standpoint, it certainly can. A program can assign point values to chart factors, total the results, and generate a recommendation in seconds. Modern software can go even further, identifying historical patterns and presenting suggested conclusions almost instantly. Stellar Wheelhouse could be designed to do exactly that. I have deliberately chosen a different approach.
After studying over 100,000 game charts, I have found that the strongest analyses come from first allowing the software to organize and present the relevant information, and then carefully evaluating how those factors interact as a whole.
I think of it much like a physician interpreting a patient's test results. The laboratory panels and imaging studies are essential, but no experienced doctor simply adds them together and stops there. Context, experience, and judgment still matter.
It is also similar to modern chess. A chess engine can evaluate millions of positions in seconds, yet strong players still study the position rather than blindly following a single evaluation number. The role of the researcher is to interpret the overall picture that emerges, weigh how the factors interact, and arrive at a final judgment.
